These are some Fireforge models, assembled using components from both the Templar Sergeants and the normal Sergeants kits;
I wanted quite a dark look to these, so as well as the brown tunics and black surcoats, I did the leather scale armour slightly darker too.
The white crosses are painted freehand, which works quite well on these reasonably flat padded armours. The mailed sleeves and hoods help with the dark overall look.
This is the scale armour done in a darker shade than normal (I usually paint this buff or mid-leather, the colour used on his shoes for example).
These two both use Templar heads / arms, with normal sergeant bodies. Again, this adds variety, and gives them a heavier, more elite look than just using the normal sergeant components.
More conversion here, the chap on the left has normal sergeant body / Templar arms and head. The chap on the right has normal sergeant body, Templar arms, and a Warlord Games Bolt Action British Infantry head. Not sure how many would have fought bare-headed in such a sunny country, but maybe his helmet got lost.
Another image to round things off.
